Sr Mechanical Estimation Engineer

1. Independently managing estimation of Offshore EPIC / Fabrication/multidiscipline construction projects from enquiry stage to contract realization.
2. Review the drawings /scope of work and formulate the quantum of work/ BOQ.
3. Identify the resource requirements in line with construction/fabrication productivities and the project scope.
4. Identify the detailed material requirement and obtain competitive prices.
5. Identify the required subcontractors for relevant activities and obtain competitive prices.
6. Provide the inputs and direct the planning group to prepare the preliminary project schedule/Method statement
7. Carry out site survey and identify the site impediments.
8. Prepare Estimation / project summary for management review.
9. Compile and prepare technical and commercial proposals.

Profile
1. Between 10-14years relevant experience in construction industry / EPC environment.
2. Experience in computerized environment of Tendering and Estimation on Turnkey and Construction works related to Oil & Gas Industry Piping works, Flow lines, Refineries, Power Plants & Infrastructure.
3. Familiar with International Standards for design, engineering, construction and operations of Multidiscipline projects e.g. API, ASTM, BS, DIN, Shell DEP’s etc.
4. Conversant with Project Planning, Costing, MIS reporting and system software’s such as Primavera, M.S. Project, Open Plan etc.
5. Experience in construction site, man-power and equipment deployment requirement, fabrication of piping, structure, vessels etc., NDT and quality control system & heavy lifts.
6. Deriving quantities from the Drawings, co-ordination with the Vendors, sub-vendor, sub-contractors, Client, consultant
7. Compilation of Technical & Commercial Bids. 8. Good Knowledge in Microsoft office packages.
